Advice for YouTubers with no motivation.

I think we have to make special kind of content now, because of the many new youtubers with the same idea as yours. Competition is getting harder and harder for most of us....

Problem is, it seems like everything is already being done, and even if you attain the quality that the big names do, you'll still be drowned out unless you get lucky.

I think most anyone could get to a few thousand subs with some hard work, but to get to 100k, 500k, 1M, etc, you really just need to hit the YouTube lottery at this point.

Back in the day, when there weren't many people on YouTube, if you met a niche that people wanted, you were almost guaranteed at least some decent success. Not so anymore. :(

That is why people always tells us to do what we love doing on youtube, because if you're not doing the thing you love. You'll guarantee to quit sooner or later....

When you got enough time, maybe make a few video's and schedule them. When you are busy with other stuff, not everybody has the time to be 24/7 on youtube, you can post your video's by giving it one click. Its important to be consistene. Even in time when you not motivated enough, you can throw a video online which you already have made.

That's actually a strategy I'm looking to use right now...

I haven't been able to produce content, but I have a good open weekend coming up so I'm thinking to film like 3 or 4 videos and I'm good for about a month as I'm going to begin following an upload schedule of once a week. I'd eventually like to move to 2 a week, but at least if I can be consistent with 1, it'll count for something.

And then if I'm good for a month, I could always find the time to make a few others in-between anyway...

Thanks for doing this. I will keep coming back to make sure I dont lose motivation or the soul purpose of doing youtube.

You absolutely should enjoy it. I'm sure that everyone who is successful didn't go into it trying to make it a career.
