Advice for Partnership Offers Please (much appreciated)!

I haven't seen anyone post it here that Fullscreen or any of the larger ones have contacted them but I have seen countless ones from newer or smaller networks so they must do it more or something, either way I dont think its a good way to gain partners. Could be because many people know who Fullscreen are already and they might only do it to fairly large channels so when they get invited they dont bother asking who they are etc[DOUBLEPOST=1402584994][/DOUBLEPOST]

Id stick at it with Adsense for now then, when your channel is much larger you will be able to get much better deals for yourself and be in a better position to negotiate with them.
thank you Michael for your insight. I plan on continuing my work and sticking around this forum for input. by the time i get big enough for it to matter, however, wouldn't a network signing be moot? meaning, if i'm making money on my own, what could they add?

You're welcome, glad to have you here. When your channel is much larger you could be looking at 100% revenue for yourself and the network helping you get brand deals where they source deals with advertisers and they take a cut from that instead so the Adsense would be yours completely :)

Did you go with them or are you independent or with another network? do you like who you are with (if you are with one)?

they didn't give me a contract, just said "you're in, link your channel for the last step". only when i asked specifically for a contract did i get one to review (just got it today)
they assumed i would blindly sign, but i asked for the contract and reviewed it and the terms were really not very good, so I decided to hold off for a while and remain unsigned (i get a new network offer every few weeks lol), and I will sign only when I can negotiate the terms i.e. when my channel has grown more. My advice would be NEVER EVER sign the first offer you get, and for gods sake read the contract and read it carefully. Oh and beware - google always take the same percentage of your earnings (i forget the exact percent, i think between 40-49%?), so if a network offers you a 70/30 split, that is of your remaining earnings, not instead of google taking 40-49%. I know I didn't realise that until I checked with google lol

this is great to know…thank you! i finally got the contract after asking several times and will review it. i'm leaning towards holding off myself. thank you for your input![DOUBLEPOST=1402589699,1402589627][/DOUBLEPOST]
