Advice: Cable channel wants to feature my video

Hi all, I did several searches and couldn't find a related thread and couldn't find one.

To the point: A cable tv channel wants to feature a video I did (on starting fire with water) on their new show and I want to approach this correctly.

The show is "3 scientists walk into a bar" on the Weather Channel. A couple years ago T-Mobile wanted to feature the video in a commercial, but I didn't follow up as I was travelling abroad at the time.

I expect this may happen a few more times, So, what tips do you have for making the most out of these opportunities? What should I be aware of? What should I expect out of this?

All advice and tips are appreciated.

Hmm, that sounds great, but I have no solid advise for you.
I do agree with @PinProject about seeing who all gets to show your video and ask that they make sure to list your name and/or user name on the screen when it's shown.

So, the disclosure is apparently pretty standard (found out from someone who works in the industry). To Summarize: They can use the footage under any circumstance on The Channel and I can't terminate that right for any reason.

Hmm. do you have a watermark/stamp on the video?

Just tell them that they can feature your video (if you want to) but as long as they give the proper recognition (your channel name and name of the video, etc) and idk if you should ask for a little bit of money, not sure, though.
