Advertising strategy !!

Hi everybody I recently read about a interesting approach in AdWords for Youtube.
Basically peoples use to ads their videos as inline video, but a marketer expert has explained that it is much better to advertise video as a banner in youtube itself.
This because banner is not "aggressive" as inline video ads and it is cheap (sometimes less than a cent per click).

So what do you think about that?

A: What particular marketer said this?

B: If you are thinking of this strategy for yourself, your channel is too small as yet to get any serious return from spending money on Adwords for Video.

C: My personal opinion, as someone who has been a YouTube Creator for nearly a decade is: Inline video cannot simply be ignored but must be viewed, at least to the point where the "Skip Ad" option appears. Banner Ads, on the other hand can be X'd away (closed) with no benefit whatever to the person who bought them.

I wouldn't put money into Adwords until you've already made investments in sound and lighting, editing software, etc.
If your production quality is low, then your advertising dollars won't be as effective because you'll be pushing an inferior product.
Just my .02c. Take it with a grain of salt. I've only got like 89 subs at the moment.

k thnx for advices, so tell me you if my productions are so low
If The Fire Of Darkness Movie Trailer is any indicator, I'd say A: The last person to reply to you hasn't even bothered to look at your channel, and B: You have no production quality issues except very minor ones. Your "sorceress" or "seeress" is an obvious external implant; think your greenscreen tech could use a tiny tweak, and the highwayman's sword seen edge on is clearly not a real blade (camera angle change might help); but those are the only faults I saw in the segment I watched. I have subscribed and will view more later.

Set up a Facebook page for the movie and for your channel too; set up a Twitter for your channel and if you use Instagram, set up an account there. When you have topped 2,000 subscribers, then it will be about time to consider an Adwords account.

Let me follow you also as I may have some other ideas...there are indie film maker portals where you wouldn't be as "buried" as you are on YouTube.

You make me fell so happy !
Thank you very very very much for your advice. In fact there are few gaps in Fire of Darkness 'cause it has been created by a small production,
we were 60 persons of the staff.
Yes on Youtube Im just a little drop in the ocean 'cause youtube is basically a so large community that if you dont shout everywhere your channel it's
basically a "files storage".
I will do what you adviced... again, THANK YOU so much and yes I would be so glad if you stay in touch with me

Also, if you are in Britain now, so am I! I came here from the United States ten years ago. I've dropped you a private message; look in your inbox. I won't have time to re-find those indie film portals until tomorrow, but I will tell you the names, as linking here, even as part of a PM can't be done without a VIP account.

I'll be back in Britain soon as I hope, I actually am in Italy where I worked for theatres
and of course for Fire of Darkness.
But I think I shoud also come soon in the next months for 1 or 2 weeks.

Ah ha! I thought I saw someone who had at least basic knowledge of direction and set placement, and I was right. Let's see what we can do to put some 'fuel' in the tank of this production.

Thanx again for your advices. I really appreciate any kind of suggestion and support and not only because it can be helpful for the production, but it is make me feel very touched. May I just ask how can you help us?
