Adsense

So I have about 150 subscribers right now, and I need some information about adsense.
1. Should I join adsense now or wait till I have a certain amount of subscribers?
2. What does adsense do for me?

You basically get paid for allowing Google to put advertising on your vids. With 150 subs, I'm guessing you don't have a HUGE number of views, so getting adsense wouldn't pay you very much atm. That being said, I have known people who've signed up for adsense from day 1, so it's really your call. I'm not sure if there's any advantage in waiting or anything.
