Guys, how do you get money off of youtube? I've monetized my videos and Youtube says I need to have adsense to be able to see how much I would get and to get it.
I went onto adsense and it said that I need a website/blog?? I tried my blog and said that it wouldn't work because my blog isn't good enough or something?
Am I even doing this right? ahah:D Or is adsense not how you get money etc? :P xx
 
Your blog or website should reach some standards adsense has. Such as it should get 100 views a day. Something like that. I don't really know the number. Also your website or blog should feature google ads. Such as blogger is one if them. But tumblr or twitter doesn't work.
 
My friend had started getting money off youtube last year, and said that he didn't have to put a website/blog link in?
unless he forgot that he did:P
 
Monetizing your blog is not going to get you money from your YouTube videos.

When I went on to adsense, I think I must of added my blog ages ago to it? And now it wont let me change it to my youtube channel and it says that my google isn't with adsense?
I went on to my different Youtube and it let me use that youtube link and said the google is ok with adsense.. if that makes sense? And on my main channel It wont let me change the blog webiste.. :(

But, I've done it now:P I just changed my email(: and now Youtube said they will message me saying if my channel if good or something:P
 
It's still confusing me! :( Something about an ad code??
I'm so confused about how to get money for my youtube page and everything!
Can someone give me a step by step thing on what to do? :/

Ok what have you done so far? Keep in mind that AdSense allows you to earn money both off ads on your YouTube videos and from your website(s). I think the "ad code" you're seeing is the code you would use to put ads on your website(s), so you may not have to worry about that.

When you go into YouTube in your creator studio, under Channel > Monetization - what is it asking you to do there?
