Adsense filling in account details

I know that i should have done this ages ago, but im filling in my bank account details on google adsense, and need a tiny bit of help (i know nothing with banks and stuff) anyway they asked for a "Bank/building society name" and a "Bank/building society account number" what are they? where can i find this info.

Its on your bank card, Your Bank/Building society name is literally the name of the bank, So Halifax, Natwest HSBC etc etc

If you look on your card one of the numbers should be labelled as account number on the face of your card

thanks, I thought that the Bank/building society account number is a different number than my account number

so is the Bank/building society account number the number under the 16 digit number? its not really labled

No it's not the long number, there are other numbers underneath that, on my card it says underneath the number 'Account number' I think mines an 8 digit number, not sure if its the same with all banks, Should look like this.

thanks, i don't have that strangley, i do have a debit card but it doesnt have that on it.

my card looks a bit like this

so it has a sort code and next to it is nothing[DOUBLEPOST=1400000134,1399999792][/DOUBLEPOST]

I was gonna say that you would have it at the top of your bank statement or something then

If you're with NatWest, I think you need to put National Westminster Bank Plc. (I believe that's what I put too) in the Bank/building society name field.

I think that's why it didn't work, jut got an email from google adsense telling me that my details didn't work, ill try puting "National Westminster Bank Plc." as you suggested and see what happens. thanks
