I joined freedom and since then I've had my logo updated, added an intro to my videos, learned to add annotations at the end and apply CTA's (call to actions) like asking people to Like and Subscribe, and got access to cool music to put in the background of my videos. I learned all of that by watching their training videos. Check out one of my last two videos to see the result.

Exactly! When you feel like your channel is "big" enough, try to apply to a network

As I understand it, yes, you do, but you should be able to become a YouTube Partner without linking an AdSense account to your channel
