Adding music to videos?

I'm having a problem that whenever I add music using the YT video editor on the website, it mutes my original audio? I'm moving the bit that lets you choose how much the music covers the audio so that it says 'prefer original audio' but when I save the changes all you can hear on the video is the youtube music? Thanks

i suggest you add the audio in a software instead of youtube's editor as most of the "edits" youtube does ruins the quality of videos anyways.

Buy some editing software or use Windows Movie Maker or iMovie (neither of the latter two are recommended). I personally use and love Premiere Pro CS6 - while it has a bit of a learning curve it is an excellent piece of software.

Yeah, Youtube editor isn't very reliable for..........well, anything, Yeah, Get yourself an editing software if you want to do stuff like that to your content
