Adding 'captions' for subtitle helps to get more views?

I've seen articles and videos saying that it does... is it true? I mean, youtube searches also filter the caption, like a tag.
 
This is true but it still dosnt help by a lot but it does help. Most vids I have corrected my captions on received maybe 3% or 5% more views. The only problem is if you make a 20 min video you have to sit there for about a hour and watch he video to correct the captions. Unless you upload a pre typed script as the captions.
