Adblock end of youtube watch this picture lol

I have a feeling that there are less ads displayed on videos this month. Usually there are always ads on videos I watch, but now, maybe every third video get an ad.

Sure, sometimes networks can be beneficial (if you're a big content creator) but if you're small there really is no point.

People are just lazy and do not want to spend their time searching for information. Even if their channel future depend on it.

I get it, but you should not rely on Ad sense money. Some people sell books, others sell shirts. You just have to think of a way to "sell" your channel, if money is of the essence.

i have a job ... i see adsense more as my hobby its just funny how earnings are dropping compared to .
Two years ago it gets worst every year.

to help supplement low adsense, there's the option of using other methods of monetization... brand deals, merchandise, affiliate selling, etc.

Whats your channel about?

If it's gaming with a young male demographic, you'll have ad blockers + not a great variety of advertisers that target that market. Add to that the usual January downturn, and your low CTR isn't that surprising. what was your CTR for the last few months?

Adblock users no one watching adds no monetized views lol

Not Adblock, just a complete lack of ads in January.

Consumers spend the most money leading up to Christmas and very little in the month after it. If the masses aren't going to spend money in January, there's no reason for advertisers to spend theirs.

Companies blow through their advertising budgets during the holiday season then take January to reassess their strategies, see what worked and didn't, and figure out this year's advertising budget.
