Adapter to record older games on Elgato?

So I got an elgato for cheap since it came with no box. I'm not sure if an adapter was supposed to come with it or not. Right now I can only record Wii U stuff and I can see adapters for older systems or at least I think I do but at the same time it says VCR while on some sites the same item says PS3. Plus they are $60 and higher. All I'm looking for is a way to record PS2/PS3/Gamecube era games on Elgato but whenever I think I find one it turns out to not be the exact item or it seems way too pricey. Do they really cost over $50? Seems weird when AV replacement cables are under $10. Just want to make sure I'm buying the right thing and not wasting money.

well there was a cord for the ps3 that comes with the elgato that im guessing you never got. see but this cord plugs into the a/v in port on the elgato then plugs into the tv. so if you can find one of those cords you can probably record ps3 and ps2 games
