Actually finding YouTubers ON YouTube!

LoL Guys
Does anybody else think it's difficult to connect with YouTubers on the actual site? Since I've been on here, I've connected with a couple of you guys and subscribed to some channels and you guys actually appreciate it...

Seems on YouTube itself, I can only find the big guys and nobody really wants to connect. Am I don't something wrong? or is that the nature of the beast?
 
Well if you're only contacting big guys, odds are they'll be less apt to respond.
 
Well no I'm not just contacting the big guys, though I will leave comments hoping someone else will respond... but I find smaller channels but it always seems they're inactive... at least on here I know you guys are active!

It's important to note (just like stated above), if you are going after the big sharks, you most likely aren't going to get a response. The key is to work with people that have numbers similar to yours. You can always aim a tad higher, though the same, or a bit lower is the sweet spot. If you Google "YouTube Clubs" it should bring up a result (can't remember which link), you can select which state your from, wait for your application to process, and it'll list YouTuber's from your state; if you're so inclined to go that route.

This is a great tip and I think it will really help me out. I was confused how to find YouTubers in my area (Mid Wisconsin) and was finding nothing for FB groups or anything like that. Thanks!

I have joined facebook TALENT GROUPS, where you can post ur youtube links to show ur talent, so sometimes I post in those groups about YouTube collaboration, few times I got response, they live around my city!
 
Right, I live in Wisconsin and YouTubers are hard to find, haha... there are "Mid-West" Youtuber groups, but they usually live states away... kinda blows, I want to develop my characters a bit more but definitely want to do some colabs

if you have friends, tell them to collab with u, they will apparently share your videos! :D
 
I have no friends..... you saw my video, it's just me :(

bahahaha jk jk.... my friends are all to nancy to do videos with me, I've begged.... which is why I came up with the concept I have and I actually like that it worked out that way
