I recently used a song in the background of my vlog, and it said that I could keep it or dispute it, well I chose to keep it up, and I know that from the music edit section of that video it says that I could either remove the song but it messes up the audio and video, so should I just leave it up or should I re upload a version without tha music. So I'm not going to get a copyright strike or something right, if they are making money from it, it's okay then right ??

If it messes up your video, I would not keep it. Personally, If I am creating the video, I don't use anything to allow somebody else to profit off of my work. I do not use copyrighted material and I don't dabble in any 'fair use' issues. It isn't worth my time.

If you keep it up, that guy/artist will end up getting the monetization off of your video if the claim holds up. If you don't mind, that's fine, keep it up. The rights holders to Harlem Shake let everyone use that clip in their videos, and got all the ad revenue from it, pretty good deal for them.
