Acifin

I Love YTtalk
Anyone know about this network. I awhile back sorta remember signing up for it or something was asked to join, honestly it's been awhile and I don't remember. I was checking my email today and noticed I had one from them saying my partnership has been accepted and would like to move to the next step. I click the link provided in the email and was taken to a website stating. "click to continue once all videos with copyrighted music have been removed, and all remixes."

First off, I don't even know what to look for as for copyrighted music. I know songs and whatnot but, what about mario stuff. If these video aren't monetized do I really need to remove them? Also is it even worth bothering with these people. I'm only at 400 subs getting roughly around 1,000 views a month. 51k total.

Any and all advice and input would be nice. Thanks in advance.

All I know about Acifin is that they are under BBTV which isn't exactly the best MCN. Also, I've heard of many acifin partners signing their channels away to contracts with 3 year lock-in, I wouldn't say its worth it tbh.

On the other hand, mario music will likely be copyrighted by Nintendo and is a thing to watch out for, they often content_id match videos with any of their content meaning you cannot monetize it.

In my opinion, I would just wait and apply to another network such as Curse, its probably the best for gaming channels at this current moment. :)

Thank you for the reply. Yes a 3 year lock in sounds alittle much right off the bat. I am also aware of nintendo's need to prevent monetized videos. I just wasn't sure what they meant by removing all my videos with that type of stuff, when I don't have them monetized. I just recently starting monetizing my videos anyway.
