About the payed channels

So from what i see W.E. has showed the list of payed channels that are gona be on youtube ... ok now this is a problem in my opinion because if they have in mind the same thing as with the backgrownds then we might be forced to pay for the persona channels as well ... but wasn`t there a big uproar so they woulden`t do that ? i mean some kind of petition or something ?
 
Making a petition is lame. YouTube is still free to use, you don't have to pay for subscriptions... you're not being force to pay for the subscriptions. Just let it go, noting you can do to stop it or change the proposals. :)
 
how can you be so sure man ? i mean look what happened with the style and the background of you tube ... ppl complained and non were listened to, what makes this situation diferent from the rest ?
 
Yeah, it's likely going to be specialized or "exclusive" content. If you think YT is going to change it's day-to-day operations (which already make a lot of money) to something that will most likely make their users angry?

It's going to be another feature, not the norm.

i mean ... yeah ... but ... still i`m worryed that maybe in the end every channel will turn to payed subs

The style and background was a layout change. That is something completely different than paid subscriptions. YouTube knows that it's not a good idea to force pay all the channels. They would loose a lot of people that way. There is nothing to worry about.

i mean YT allready made some changes to the site that made the users angry ... so what could stop them from making every sub to be payed for ... you know my point ?

Because there's been petitions made in the past against YouTube and it's various changes, they didn't even work.
I even came across someone who created a petition against the One Channel design and had a really lame response. It only got 50 signatures. :roflmao2:

They complain, because they hate change. Change has to happen weather people like it or not. YouTube needs to keep up to date with the demands of the internet world.
