A stupid mistake I made

My brother has a name tag on his desk and I shot a video in the same room. His name tag showed up on the video but I didn't notice it. My brother saw the video and said, "my name is showing up." I had to get rid of the entire video. Guess what, I did the same thing again and had to chuck that video. Just some friendly advice. If you are going to shoot a video make sure there are no important docs or name tags lying around. Unless you don't care.

The easiest thing you could've done was censor it xP
Unless you were moving the camera all over the place and his name kept showing. Why ya gotta throw it? It might've been a good footage.

Censoring footage looks bad, that's the problem.

He might just be a bit self-conscious knowing people might notice his name somewhere online. A bit ridiculous, yes, but I'm sure there are plenty of people in the world like that.

Perhaps if you had a big black screen, but sometimes people don't notice blurs. Or just be hilarious and put a sign that says, "Too Much Info"

If it's just a name tag I wouldn't worry about it. It's simply your name

Many people online know my full name and I've never once encountered someone crazy enough to stalk me.

My brother is a private person and does not want his name out there and he have a very unique name.

It would have taken to much time to go through the entire footage and try and clean out his name. Chucking was the easiest.

True that, but I should respect his wishes. If he filmed something that had my name on it I would hope he would do the same for me.
