Loving YTtalk
This may seem obvious to some, but to others it might be a new concept.
Basically, pick a game that you are looking forward to playing (not released yet). Perferably one that won't be out for a couple months and isn't by a AAA publisher (EA, Activision etc).
Make commentary videos on this game, commentate over the trailers, interviews and rumors. Then, as soon as the game comes out make videos using a specific key word. If it's a MMORPG then maybe you take the keyword "title Dungeons"
In a perfect world this game will catch on and gain lots of players. If so, you are well positioned on YT to catch those views. Maybe the game becomes a cult classic and you gain a small but strong group of followers.
I am doing this now with 2 games as an experiment. No Man's Sky (out in June) and Devilian (just released). I have noticed that I am already capturing keywords for Devilian and am ranking near the top for several of them.
There are so many people making COD videos that I really don't want to compete with them. I am working towards quite a niche with mint MMO/MMORPGs. Good luck to all of us.
