A question about tags and description length

I've heard to increase views having a lengthy description with a lot of keywords will help it show up more during a search. Does the same go for the amount of tags you have or will having too many tags make your video show up less?
 
It's fine as long as the tags are relevant, just don't put bogus tags in to latch onto some trend or something.
 
Well I believe theres already a limit to how many tags you can put on a YouTube video, but if you have lots of tags it wont affect your video in terms of showing up less.
 
tags and description is how you get found. if you want to get found user them and put alot of time and thought in them *can never have to much tags until your maxed*
