A new source of video traffic?

I was browsing through my analytics one day, and saw this under Traffic sources:

YTPARTNERPROMOTION.JPG

What is "YouTube partner promotion"? Well, I clicked on the question mark, and it said "Views from promotions that YouTube runs on your behalf onsite or on external sites." I assume this means YouTube put my video in ads on the pages of other people's videos.

Have you seen this in your analytics? I'm partnered only through AdSense, and not a network.

Yup I've seen that before, and it also is the same # for mine as well. I don't know how it promotes but I'll take it

Sometimes those videos are the next video in a series, which would be really helpful for viewers watching. You would figure it would get more use if they wanted to follow along in a series. Oh well, viewers can be fickle
