well their are many options here I some I know of
-alienware: owned by Dell but they were originally independent, very stylish and have different settings for longer battery life, or more speed so you can change settings on the fly for what you are doing, they are pretty expensive though so probably not worth it.
-Custom: There are many websites out there that build custom PCs fewer build custom laptops but they do exist, you can get pretty good laptops and can choose different cases,batteries,and screen size as well as ram and processors, although it would varie per site they are usually around/slightly above market price but it means you can get what you want and don't have to compromise with the main companies.
after that you could just go for a ordinary Dell or Toshiba or any other company, and for things like warranty they can be better, but their PCs aren't very personal and they usually aren't designed to game so you have to pay a lot for the best.
