Eh only does compressed recording and it's pretty bad from what I've tested.. (the audio settings in it are pretty atrocious)

I don't use software to record since I use an HDPVR2, but I do hear many good things about fraps. I hear that it's really easy to get for free as well.

They're alright, just buggy at times, and it costs money...which is a drag
OBS gets my vote

Fraps is pretty good, I use it myself! File sizes with fraps are pretty big though depending on the length of time you are recording. I cant say anything about DxTory but I have heard a lot of great things about it!

Fraps is old tech tbh, very limited. For the price, there's better
Fraps is a great fallback though as practically everything works with it
