A dislike on my video...

I had recently put out a new minecraft montage video and after a few hours, it had gotten a dislike. No likes or comments but just that. I think people don't like my comment or someone doesn't like my channel in general, please if you like/ dislike something in my video, can you inform me about it cos I work hard to get the best montages and animations that I possibly can accomplish in making. :'( :(

I wouldn't be too discouraged if someone disliked your video. Everyone is gonna have an opinion, and even if its the best video in the entire world you're gonna have that ONE guy who dislikes it. You can't please everyone. :) Keep putting out content, man! There's always gonna be haters.

Woah, woah woah!

I, for one can see the motive for that dislike. Sorry man!

1. Lack of action - The dark effect of many of the clips, coupled with in all fairness not that epic of a battle leads my finger to that dislike button... I mean seriously though, why would I watch you, fighting at a mediocre level, with not alot of action at all. Featuring: Repetitive clips of effectively the same thing, unfitting music, with the video utterly unsynced with it, and failing comepletely to be decent at PvP
2. Watermark - Self explanatory. Please just buy it, ok?
3. HD Compression. Your problem here, is that you have compiled to 1080p, BUT your video is not true 1080p, therefore there is no point. This leads me to my next point...
4. Record in HD! - Sorry man, but welcome to the internet. HD is a must for growth these days.
5. "Sorry I was crap back then" - If you openly admit it was crap, then why upload it?
6. DON'T EVER, EVER PLAGUARISE. JUST STOP. DON'T CLICK DOWNLOAD ON THAT GOOGLE IMAGE. LAZY SOD. Sorry, had to get that one off my chest. No wonder for the dislike, since that thumbnail is alluring of a high-quality video.

In summary, I'm sorry man if I came across as rude, but it irritates me significantly that you came complaining over here because of one measly dislike, confused as to why people don't like your 'comment' (content?)

The same is evident across all your other videos:
Plaguarised thumbnail, coupled with tacky editing and unfitting music

Try to improve in all aspects of youtubing, then come back asking for advice

Well I'm not the best video editor and I don't have the best video editing programs and I don't have the best PC to store big files. I manage with what I can and try to improve more on the videos.

I edit my programs with virtualdub: FREE!
I Create all my thumbnails with gimp: FREE!
I have the knowledge of how to use both of thesee programs: FREE!

So what's your problem? If you can't store big files, that's your problem. My biggest grievance though is the stolen thumbnails, so keep that in mind.

To be a youtuber requires a significant financial investment. If you're not in the situation of being able to buy that hardware and software, there is little point complaining about dislike. To start growing, I have now spent ~£170 for my youtube channel:

£90 for a mic,
£22.89 for Dxtory (recording software)
£60 for an SSD (dedicated to youtube)

And yet there's still so many ways I could improve:
I could cut down on lag with a better cpu (£180)
I could buy myself a boom stand to decrease background noise (£20)
An upgraded GPU to put less load on the CPU (£120)

See where I'm going? If you can't, or won't, then don't complain about a lack of growth

Thanks, I appreciate your advice. :)

If you're going to get bothered by 1 dislike I advise you quit now. People sometimes leave dislikes even though the video isn't bad. Maybe they're being a troll or they just want to annoy you. Don't let it bother you because there sure is more to come.

Dont take it to heart buddy. I get dislikes on a few of my videos, at first i was asking myself, whats wrong with my video? and then i realised - ohhh, im on YOUTUBE, the home of trolls. You cannot please everyone my friend, there are always going to be trolls and haters out there. Do what you can, keep learning and improving, watch other youtubers for inspiration, ideas a knowledge.

I think the most disliked I've gotten on a video were maybe 2 or 3. I'm not bragging because I don't have too many likes either. But I'm not going to be sad or discouraged by those dislikes. What I look at is the ratio. As long as your ratio of likes to dislikes is good; don't worry about it.
