a different niche

hii,
i've been creating skateboard videos over the last 7 years, its a small channel with only 523 subscribers, 68k views total.
i barely upload at all anymore, the people i used to film with are way too busy.

i'm a big fan of "indie/punk rock" and so are many skateboarders.
my Idea is to share this type of music on my channel, its not too different and its something i would be able to do. i contacted some of my fav bands and have permission from everyone so far, i should probably just jump into it but seeing what a great community this is i'd love your opinion.

yes! yes yes!! upload it immediately! your channel hasn't posted anything in over a year and you're asking if you should post some content that is still relevant?? my oh my. don't expect volumes of views from your subscribers, but with some good tagging you could get the ball rolling on a new side of your channel very easily.

Yep, even if you change the shift of what you want the channel to end up being, better to use something with prestablished metrics to create something brand spanking new.
