I'm having frustrating a problem.
I bought a new camera (Cannon SX510 HS) and it records in 720p.
I use the editing program Vegas Movie Studio 9 HD (made by Sony).
When I save the video and upload it to YouTube with Windows Live Movie Maker it comes out 720p CLEAR AS DAY, but when I save the video and upload it to YouTube with Vegas it cuts the quality down to 240p. Ive tried EVERYTHING! Saving it in windows and bringing it to vegas and saving it,Rendering, un-ticking maintain aspect ratio, ticking maintain aspect ratio, widescreen, full screen, stretching the video, trying to adjust the settings.NOTHING IS WORKING!

If you know ANYTHING that might help, please help me. I think I might need a better editing program or something :/

I would go onto youtube and just search for a tutorial because if you're having this problem.. best bet is someone else is having the same problem.. It could just be that youtube is still processing the video and the quality will get better over time.

Sometimes it takes a while after uploading for all of the higher definition options to become available. This is particularly true for longer videos.

Is the video in high definition on your computer when you render/export it? You should be able to right click on the video file to view the properties and see the resolution.
