I agree. I first started uploading videos to YouTube almost two and a half years ago, but then I stopped uploading videos. I only started taking things seriously a few months ago. I'm curious as to where I would be right now if I had kept going back then and not went on hiatus.
meee tooooo! if only i had kept going despite some minor bullying -.-

Minor bullying?

What happened?
in high school, an acquaintance found my channel, which was mostly fake music videos. i made one to the song Down by Jay Sean and Lil Wayne and dressed up as a guy for the video. The video started to go viral, and no one realized that I was a girl, so I got a lot of comments criticizing how awkward a guy I looked. the acquaintance then shared my channel with a lot of people and they started teasing me at school. the combination of real life and online bullying made me delete everything and not make any videos for years :/

Sorry to hear that. Kids can be so cruel at school. I can understand why you were discouraged by that.

If it's any consolation, most of the people who were bullies at school end up failing in life. Most end up in dead beat jobs and crappy relationships (well, the idiots from my school did!).

I first started uploading videos while I was travelling South America and uploading the video files was a pain due to poor connection speeds. When I returned to the UK, I promised myself I would start publishing more videos, but I didn't. I just added it to a list of things that I was going to do when I have time. Weeks turned to months turned to years. Thankfully, I stopped procrastinating and started taking action :)
