70 Thousand views over night!!

I woke up with 1000 views from one of my videos, i can't imagine what 70,000 views would feel like! Good job man, and as long as u put FIFA 16 in the title and weren't misleading the viewer can't really complain!

FIFA 16 wasn't in the video title when he got the 70k views lol thus misleading people.. he changed it after.

But it has had a positive effect on his channel so well played to him :):)

It is called tent pole event video. Strongly recommended by YouTube creators book!

Yeah! Make a video based around current topics and trends... makes sense! :)[DOUBLEPOST=1445510344,1445510209][/DOUBLEPOST]

Haha, that's right! FIFA 16 weren't in the title to begin with, it was only in the description! But, I've now added it this morning!

It's done well and led to more views on other videos and new subscribers so I'm happy, I can't really complain! Not the typical way of doing it, but sure as hell works!

It's touch and go with the FIFA community on YT, in my opinion however. Misleading that audience particularly can either destroy your channel or, as it seems come good to yourself.

What was the thumbnail as'well? If it was the screen capture it currently is then what they hell, if nobody could tell that was a FIFA16 video with a facecam in the corner, that's their fault.

Hm, I wanna say congrats on the views but then again, YT shifted the focus from views to watch time for a reason, to sift out videos with misleading titles etc. So your video is probably gonna have a very low audience retention and when it drops in the rankings, the views will stop. :hungover2:

I've heard of a few channels getting shut down for doing this. A lot of those people clicking "dislike" also flag the video for misleading metadata and those reports will take a snapshot of the metadata at the time the report is made.

Just a friendly warning. Good luck. :)
