So I haven't checked my subs in awhile and when I did I realized that I was halfway to my goal amount! So happy and so thankful for forums like this that I am apart of with their constant insightful tips. It is a lot of work to get your name out (constantly promoting my channel to people in real life and on the internet) but it's great to see some growth! Hopefully the growth continues. I know it's not like a colossal amount of subscribers but I am still extremely grateful.

Well I go out a lot whether it be atlantic city, wildwood etc. so anytime I went out I would film (because I vlog) and when people see the camera they tend to be curious what exactly I am filming for. So I would give them a business card with my channel information and hoped for the best. I would tell them a little bit about myself and do that. I also went on other forums and just kept promoting (not spamming) my channel and got some bites from there. I also will sub back to other people trying to get there channel started because as upcoming youtubers I feel that we should stick together and help each other out, so people liked that as well. So basically networking and helping others on youtube that have the same goal of getting a following like you do (i.e. commenting on there channels, giving them a sub, or even telling others about their account)[DOUBLEPOST=1404502128,1404502105][/DOUBLEPOST]

That seems like a really smart and genuine approach where you don't bother anyone.
 
vlogger? mmm... I don't think I would ever could be a vlogger. Too much talking into the mic and in front of the camera. lol
but yet, I do like talking while I'm playing a video game. it's fun to do so, I think I'm just too afraid to have a camera and talk infront of it. good job thought. keep up the good work man!

I love it, It is weird at first just talk into a camera, but if you imagine you are talking to someone or an even an audience, it makes talking in front of a camera a lot easier. Plus with vlogging you always have a record of fun things that you have done in your life. And thank you! means a lot!
