Today is the rollout for the new network changes. Hence why the site is currently down as they perform maintenance. There are changes being made to both Copyright claims and ContentID matches.

Same issue i'm having

I know some web development stuff, What it means is that there could of had to much traffic which crashed there server but you tube is big so why would it be that or something unexpected happened which caused it not to respond to requests.
