I'm writing in this thread so that maybe in a year or two you can come back to this moment. You have just reached 50 subscribers. And let me tell you why this is cool; you weren't in this for the subscribers.
Yeah, sure. It would be cool, I suppose, to have 1,000,000,000,000,001 subscribers but that isn't why you started making videos, remember? 3 weeks ago we started this channel with the sole intention of creating a safe space for people to connect with each other, make friends, interact with you and discuss a myriad of topics that are close to your heart. All you wanted was for at least 1 other person to feel the same way. You just needed 1 comment to start a discussion. But you don't have just one, Sam. You have 50. 50 people who care enough about what you have to say to come back for more. 50 people who feel that your silly little videos mean something.
Whatever happens with the future of this channel I want you to look back on this moment and feel proud. Not because you reached a certain magical number. Not because people are giving you positive feedback. But because you are finally doing something you love.
And that's pretty cool.
