I just introduced a new survival question and answer show and picked up about 100 subscribers in the past 24 hours! It seems to be doing really well, for me anyways. I know some of you are subscribers so thank you.

First, make the best original content that you can. Then self promote the crap out of your videos. I'm a bit lucky in that there are many places/forums to share my videos. Sooner or later you can lay off the self promotion somewhat.
 
Good work! in the early days its all about self promoting! You have to be on every forum and social media network! Hard work pays off
 
Good job!!! Man I can self promote so much and get views but not subs.... one day I will figure out what im not doing right lol

In the end views are better than subs. If you want me to be honest, I think it is just the type of channel you have, people randomly search for videos like yours, which is good.

Man, cars have gotten so fast. I have a 11 second NA 93 Mustang. I've had it for almost 20 years. Back in the day that was pretty fast. Now everybody's got turbo this and supercharger that. I'd be sooo slooow.
 
yeah, im just not a talk on camera guy, who knows one day i may try it and be awesome at it.....prolly not lol, but it does seem that channels where the "host" is on camera and talkin do seem to get and keep more subs... i guess people can relate and such?
