3rd party Music claim?!

Rouge

The All-Round Lad
So today my most recent video got a copyright claim (nothing too serious) just stating I cannot monetize videos with music from AudioMicro.com.

I appealed this as all partners on RPM and Maker have the right to use this music and make money from it so long as proper credentials are made in the description, which I had.

Should I have appealed? Youtube said this claim wouldn't affect my status but now it says false claims may result in a ban?

Just include that part ^ in your appeal and you should be fine, I'd think.

I got the same thing too, I used music from audiomicro which I have the rights to use. Seems that you can only use it as a backing and not full forward audio track

One of the videos that gives me the 2nd most revnue also got 3rd party music claims.

Idk when or how but I accidentally achknowledged the claim.

I don't think there is a way to undo it, should I just private the original video and upload a new version?

On the otherhand one of my Dragon's Dogma videos got copyright contend id'ed, I disputed it and so far one of the claimers released their claim.

There is a new content system where YouTubers can use audio from certain places. They will not get a copyright strike but they will get a 3rd party match. This does not affect your account in any way. It just transfers the audio portion of your revenue to the artist who created the song. Idk if this is what you have got or not but if it is I wouldn't be concerned at all.

You may have to deleted it and upload a new version. It really sucks. Somethings can't be helped until YouTube communicates better.

Alas, it is unfortunate. Gonna have to make up 48,000 views, well I suppose those views already counted, but its a shame to see my 2nd most popular video have to be reuplaoded

Happens to me a lot... My last two uploads actually. They matched the song as soon as I stopped talking during a tutorial. Lammmmmeee.
