Video editing can distinguish the difference between a good video to a not so good video! Here are 3 video editing tips that can help you make better videos!
1. Cutting
In recording, sometimes we say or do things that are not really necessary or that we just don't want the viewers to see! Cutting parts of the video like when your setting up is a great idea so that when the video begins your already saying your introduction and can start the video! Also cutting parts out in the middle (like stammering, pauses etc) helps keep the video to have a good flow! Sometimes cutting the ending part where you have to stop the recording is good to! Remember you are trying to make professional looking videos and cutting helps!
2. Transitions
This goes with cutting. If your talking about one thing and suddenly shift to talking about something else, adding in a video transition is really eye catching! Video transitions can go from video slides to crazy animations! Transitions helps define when you are talking about a new topic or point and helps the viewer follow along! Transitions is very important for all youtubers!
3. Sound effects
Adding specific sound effects will add some PAZAZZ into the video! If things get suspenseful, why not add some screams? Or if things get exciting, a few party horns could be funny! Sound effect emphasize certain emotions so if your trying to make a horror video then scary noises are mandatory! Don'y over do it though, the attention is all on the video!
