3.2k+ Subs Gaming Channel, Now How to Network?!

Hey guys I've been doing YouTube for around 8-9 months now and have around 3.2k subs and approaching 400k views which is great. When I first started out I got asked by another small youtuber to collaborate but back then I didn't have time to do so and now he has become very popular and is 'IN' with the bigger youtubers of my niche. He knows them all and has them on his twitter and has collaborated with them too. Actually even smaller channels than me with less than half the daily views etc know the much bigger youtubers. I WANT THAT TOO! heh.

Now I'm wondering if anyone could give me some advice on the best ways to approach me getting in touch with bigger youtubers in my niche. I follow them on Twitter and like their videos and reply to their vids and twitter posts but I don't know that NEXT STEP. For them to take notice of me in the same way it must have happened for these other smaller youtubers getting noticed by the bigger guys.

Obviously the benefits of networking with bigger youtubers are endless. Learning from then, from their experiences, collaborating with them possibly, etc.

Any help would be fantastic.

Thank you :)

im amazed! :D i do youtube for the same time, and im just on 548 ^^ i must be doing something wrong

No no you're not doing anything wrong! Just different niches with different growth levels. Keep going. Once you're past 1k sub's things tend to get easier from my experience anyway lol.

Any advice on networking though?

I'm with Omnia Media but they require at least 1 mil views a month, they are the best network in my opinion, probably along with Polaris.

He is on about networking/collaborating with other large youtubers and not looking to join a youtube network. :p

Your channel is like a make up channel but for FIFA, haha. Jokes aside, you should start talking to them via Direct Message on Twitter or YouTube, ask them if they wish to collaborate, and make sure that you don't go for 100k subscribers, go for people with 5-10.

?
haha what do you mean like a make up channel lol, because of all the virtual pro how to videos? lol.

Thanks for the advice though. Appreciated mate. So there's no secret tactic then? Just message them and hope they reply.

You don't want to sound like a guy who wants to leech on their success, but someone who is interested in playing with them. Don't go be like - "yo let's make a collab so i can get ur subs m8".

Cause most of the popular videos on your channel are like " HOW TO MAKE YOUR FIFA CHARACTER LOOK LIKE -enter famous footballer ", like most make up channels.
