2018 is halfway done with, Are you halfway to achieving your goal of 2018?

I honestly have hopes and dreams to hit 1,000 by the end of the year. Fingers crossed it happens. I just started so I am not going to shoot my shot too high up, but it would be nice to see change. I feel like I hit a road block after 100.

I had 3 goals for 2018, Reach 50 subscribers, complete my first year on youtube and hit 100 subscribers. with about 6 months to go I smashed through 50 subs in march/early april and I uploaded my 1 year anniversairy video last week :) Im currently on 79 subscribers and im starting to get painfully close to completing the triptic :)

No.

Because I realized that I'm not making the videos I really want to make. Also, I'm learning how to animate with a professional program.

Basically, I'm working behind the scenes, so no goals were achieved.

I put on 10 pounds so the diet/exercise thing isn’t going to well the last 6 months.

I’ve shifted focus from trying to get more subs to trying to make my videos better. My only goal is to make videos I’d like to watch so, I’m doing alright.

Automotive Channel TheDutchTexan: I am trending to add 1,200 subscribers this year for a total of past 6,000 so I feel everything is on track for that channel. Just as long as I beat 2017 I am good, which it looks like I will do.

Gaming Channel TheDutchTexanGames: I have no expectations since this a side channel just for fun. But it would be cool if I could hit 100 subscribers this year. I do not have enough data to see if I am on track for that or not since I just started that channel and everyone knows gaming is hot, but only if you are established. I'd be happy if I can expand on the 24 subscribers I have now.

I started getting the YouTube bug November of last year. So far my channels have not grown but I have learned a LOT in the last 6 months. I started being absolutely ignorant about editing, cameras or content creation in general. I am happy with all the stuff I have learned but now I am trying to concentrate on the content itself.

So no I have not met my goals but I did move a few steps. I hope I can do better by the end of the year.

Although I've had some success I would have to say no. I haven't posted nearly the volume of videos that I planned to so far in 2018. I got an email from YouTube telling me my monthly stats for May and it said I had only posted 8 videos, which simply isn't good enough for my objectives. I have to do better if I'm going to reach my goal of being full-time. I know where I need to get but I just can't make the ends meet so far. I also haven't been able to add any other income streams, although I'm working towards that right now and I'm optimistic about my merch store/selling custom phone cases which is launching soon so maybe I can turn things around.

The solution for me is simple though, I need to take action. I kind of threw out my sub goals after reaching 10k, the goal for me for 2018 is to position my channel to be sustainable from a content perspective and a business perspective. That means finding a larger audience to create content for since I'm already the largest english channel in my sub-niche and finding a business model that can work for my skillset.

for my youtube goals no I'm not half way there but with trends I think I will still make it, hopeful to meet my goal of 1000 subscribers by fall. at my current rate ill meet that goal around February. but growth tends to compound so I think I will make my goals.

goals... I forgot to add goals at the start of the year, guess I'll have to set a half goal then, lol. either way, back to work!

My goal is 500 subscribers. So far that is proving very difficult, but I have no plans to give up. I believe if I continue putting out good quality content, one day people will come.
