I suppose people say that sub4sub tends not to work, mainly because when you gain the subscriber, they are usually inactive to your channel. Many people's aims is to get more subscribers and that's generally it with sub4sub. It's very understandable that parents are wanting to make their children's dreams come true, but even one active subscriber will stand out against many inactive ones

Their super active.. They will watch every video you post and then put all the like comments and everything.. They went my view time higher and also the number of views..

You can go to my channel check who are active on the comment section.. They are always active everywhere.. I don't know how they do it but I also do it as well.. Kept opening lots of youtube wait for one to finish open again until I finish watching once a day..
