Congrats on getting to 200 subs! You'll make it to 1000 before you know it. Keep up the good work. =)

When I started I really had no idea what I wanted my channel to be about or what my style was and so I made a load of rubbish videos. Just learning stages and trying to figure things out.

Then for my 19th video, I did an explainer video for my uni course at the time. It ended up being the first video that pops up on google if you searched for that. So that was my 'gateway' video, and most all of my subscribers come to my channel through that video.

Seeing the success of that video, I decided to temporarily dedicate my channel to that topic that people wanted to hear about. I could make videos that could help people while also learning the craft of making good videos.

My last two videos have been more vlog type and people responded well to them too.


To summarise, experiment and then when you find something that hits, do more of it.
