Nobody taught me the importance of building credit. This caused my first nice truck's payment interest rate to be over 10% instead of what I have now which is 1.9%.

You get told as a kid that you can do whatever you want when you are all grown up. This isn't true, as as an adult you have so much responsibility!

No more long breaks like the ones during school years...
Tests never go away, neither does homework. >.<
You spend longer at work than you do with your family
No one ever taught me how to do taxes until I had to do taxes..gaah! x_+
8 - 5 jobs are a thing of the past - cellphones changed everything and work follows you around wherever you go
going to bed early = an awesome tomorrow
I now love time out. Doing nothing all day is even more awesome. I can't believe it was such a punishment when I was a kid..haha!
What worked for our parents may not work for our generation
Graduating from school doesn't guarantee anything in life. As much as they make it feel like you are crossing a finish line, you are actually at a starting line.

I dunno..that's alI can think of for right now! ^^

When you're a kid, all you want to do is stay up late, and as an adult, all you want to do is get some sleep!
Being able to eat cake for every meal doesn't turn out to be as awesome as you thought it'd be.
Money doesn't buy you happiness, but it sure can make unhappiness a lot more comfortable.
Being good-looking is a very short-lived thing. Better to be nice.
Time passes much more quickly, the older you get.
If you fall behind on one thing (like, say, bills), then it's much easier to fall behind on everything.
Exercise becomes more difficult the older you get, so don't stop doing it.
