2 videos a week? Too much?

Hey everyone,

I've been considering maybe doing two videos a week recently, it won't be two rants a week, it'll be rants on Monday like always and then maybe on Thursday or Friday I will do something different, like talk about a certain topic, or do a tag video, or a Q&A.

So, I'm wondering, do you think 2 videos a week would be too much for the size of my channel? I've seen other small vlog channels start doing two or more videos a week and their views drop as it's too much to keep up with.

In my opinion, 1 video a week isn't really much when it comes to Vlogs. I mean, they're not that hard to make where it takes you a whole week to make them, and they're only like 7 minutes of talking... Again though, this is just my opinion.
 
I've started doing 2 videos a week and plan to go to 3 videos a week. 1 Video really isn't enough and even though iIedit my videos a lot more intensely then most vloggers, I still can justify only producing one video a week in relation to the amount of time it takes to create.

Yeah true, the reason I didn't before was because I was working 5 or 6 days a week and couldn't think of more than one thing a week to rant about. But atm I'm looking for work and I'm thinking I could do something that isn't a rant on the 2nd upload day. Thanks for answering :)[DOUBLEPOST=1398795238,1398795196][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yeah, I used to think one a week was enough, but lately I'm thinking it is soooo long between uploads. Two videos a week might help my channel grow a tad more. Thank you :)
 
Not really, two videos is a good number. If you produce good content you will always get the views :) The balance between quality and quantity has to be stuck.... problem is that there is alot of people out there that believe quantity beats quality... there may be some truth in that in order to get noticed faster...
 
i'd say that more videos are always better as long as you can keep up with the schedule and not compromise quality for quantity :)
 
As someone who has checked out your videos, I can tell you that you are really good at vlogging. So I would say that if you decide to go to 2 videos a week, I think it would only benefit your viewers. Just make sure that it doesn't interfere with what you've already got going on. Good luck! :)
 
I wouldn't say it's too much - especially if you only have one channel to maintain and right now you're doing only one weekly video. My main channel only has a weekly vlog, but I have two other channels, where I upload 3x/week (games) and 1x/week (tutorials) so right now I'm actually uploading a total of 5 videos/week (eek!).
