2 questions about earnings

So, I make guitar lessons on youtube and when I make one I release 2 videos, normal version which is usually about 1 minute and 30 seconds and a slow version which is about 3 minutes long. Would I earn more/do better if instead of uploading 2 videos, I merge them into one video that's 4 minutes and 30 seconds?

Also, why is my cpm only $0.21 with those videos? All of my ads are enabled. 70% of my traffic is from tier 1 countries (mostly US) and more than 60% of them watch the video on pc. Average view duration is around 38 seconds.

If you put them in two separate videos, you will have 2 chances to show ads on both videos. However, it always depends on the quality of your videos more than the quantity because if you post high-qaulity videos with high audience retention, you video will be ranked higher in the search engine. That means you will get more views and more chances to show ads. So quality is better than quantity.

I think ( but i am not sure) your CPM formula depends on many factors. It is very important to consider what type of ads you are targeting (by tags) because cost per mile will increase if the cost of ads is very high. Moreover, your daily number of views with respect to the number of allocated ads impressions (having different types of ads impressions) will affect the overall formula.
