1080p vs 720p Any Difference in SEO and Views?

I'm sure there isn't a difference. Personally I watch mostly in 360 just because it is faster but I have been going up to 480 lately. I will only go to 720 and 1080 if I am watching GPU benchmark videos as well as movie and game trailers.

My internet i great, so I also prefer to watch stuff in high res (1080p). That is not true... It's not something I prefer, I kind of expect it by now.

These words may seem harsh, but they're honest (yeah, great consolation there, sorry): Unless it's a youtuber I've already followed for years, someone I've been personally recommended or they have über superb charisma, and manage to hold on to be long enough to see/feel/hear this, I'm outta there, if its low res... If it's worth doing, it deserves being shown off in good quality - and there's so much great content out there that I don't feel like missing out on anything, by going on to the next search result. =/
I wish I didn't react so much to this factor, but resolution somehow is important to me... But from what others have said in this thread, I've gathered that I'm living a life of luxury with a great internet connection and big monitors.

However, bigger monitors and better internet is here to stay, so if you make stuff that will also be relevant a year+ from now, a lot of people might be in a new and tech-wise better situation...

I dont notice much of a difference although i dont have a very large screen so I wouldn't know. I also cant upload 1080p because my current recording system doesn't record in 1080p but when I finally get the proper camera I will.

I'd be surprised if that was a factor at all in SEO. Look how many videos on YouTube that you stumble across are in 240p.
