100 Subs!

Hi everyone. We are so happy that we have hit 100 subs in a little over a month. A lot of it came from promoting on twitter. We did a contest to say thanks to our viewers and it went over super well. Heres to our next goal of 250. Feels so good:)

That's great! Congratulations! I just hit that mark recently as well, it feels good! Here's to another 100 faster than the first!

Congrats on the 100 subs! Still working on getting there myself. Any tips on running a successful contest or how to promote on twitter?
 
Hi TylersMagic. Thanks. Heres what I have done that works and doesnt work.

On Contests

Do not do a subscriber contest. You just end up getting people who wont really want to watch your vids.

Do have a contest when you hit a certain goal (you can do like we did and do a thank you contest). This rewards people for being loyal to you, and encourages others to get on board as well.

On Twitter

Do not have a twitter follower contest. Its a waste.

Do tweet often, but also find people to do shout outs with. Example- I like this video by TylersMagic (then I would put the link to your vid). This works because you are plugging your stuff without it coming from you.

Also, follow people who seem cool and they will most likely follow back.

Just be active, upload constantly and after a while the 200 will come.
It's so hard to say what someone should do since there are so many factors that are different to every channel.
The 200 will come trust me^^
