10,000 asking too much?!

FamBamVlogs

Family Daily Vlogger
I am just wondering if asking for 10,000 Fans in 1 year is too much?!

We are uploading our 55th Daily Vlog as we speak and we have gained 500+ Fans and 12k+ Views in that timeframe. I guess we are just trying to predict where we could go or maybe we are being unreal with ourselves.

I <3 honesty!!

Thank you everyone!!

Just moved this to the Strategies & Technique Advice section of the forum for you. I think it's good to set goals and go for them :)

There seem to be a lot of Daily Vloggers on YouTube, but I see Channels that have been doing it for a couple years and only have a few thousand Fans. Like how do you keep the motivation to keep going? I would revise and revamp what I was doing after that point. My real goal for myself is to get as close to 25k Fans in 365 Days!!

It's possible no doubt about it. I just got there in that time frame earlier this month. Staying motivated is hard to do even with success, but I can honestly say taking a break has helped me come back more energized and lead to more ideas. Best of luck and I'll be pulling for you to get there :D

Thats awesome and Congrats on that! Yeah we used to Daily Vlog and after 4 months we finally hit 200 Subs. We took a break and came back stronger than ever! Promotion is a huge thing for me and I feel that people may go to our Channel, but when people only see that we have 55 Daily Vlogs uploaded and only have 500 some Subs then tend to just exit out...."They dont have a lot of Subs; they probably suck!" Lol

After 4 months I was at 170 subs, and referring to channel size and people exiting out is a good point. I've spoken about this before and am guilty of it myself at times. Most people are pressed for time or just in a hurry to find something good, so they skip past a channel that has great content for that reason alone.

There are also a million other little things will turn people away that I've learned in the last year of posting. For one, an intro that's too long. I found myself today about to hit the back button at the 7 second mark cause the intro was still going. It just happen that the intro ended before I did, and the video turned out to be a great one from a small channel.

Learning YouTube is just a fascination and obsession now which has definitely helped me grow. I don't know anything from experience about your market in vlogs, but I have heard time and time again it's a hard one to get started due to a lot competition. Seeing as you already have 500 subs you're doing something right for sure.
