1 minute video vs 4 minutes video or more.

Hello guys! Just a quick question for everyone..

Because I'm always driving around, and I use my dashcam to caught some annoying drivers, most of the clip are 50 secs to 1 minute video,

If I upload 50 secs = 1 minute video, then I can upload tons of video, but if I compile, it takes me a week just to upload single video,

My channel is just starting, so I don't have idea which is better to gain more viewers. any help!? Thanks!

Maybe start out with some short videos and then make them longer as you go a long

I guess there´s pros and cons with both.
1 min videos might be long enough for people to deal with, but it might not give you a lot ad time.
While longer videos might be too long for some people, but give you longer ad time, and thus more money.

Until you can categorize a bunch of videos for a specific compilation I'd do short ones. My short videos get way more views than my long ones do

I would advise shorter videos at first and as you grow your fan base people will tolerate longer videos

save the really dramatic or funny clips as their own uploads, then compile them in bigger vids once you get enough good material. so I say both

I wouldn't watch the full 1 minutes if it's slow and draggy, much more won't for a 4 mins compilation if it's the same. Unless these 1 min clips to tell a story. Eg. "I was driving to the mall when this driver decides to drive like a mad man, going left and right, I got mad so I decided to drive faster and cut his lane." Something like that, I don't know, I don't drive.

Of course, more videos = more views. Provided the first video the viewers see can attract their attention to watch more. Humans have an average attention span of less than 8 seconds.

Quantity is not quality.

Maybe two compiled videos each week?
Like what Lightsen says, good clips on their own.

Considering the channel size, ads really aren't a factor imo
