Sidemens new channel got 1 million subs in 3 days from opening the channel. It had a bit of an advantage though.

Some channels have a lot of 'shareable' content that is of interest universally and not bound by gender, age or language so these tend to grow very quickly. It's like those pimple popping clips - so popular. Personally I can't watch them but many do.
