Don't forget to check if you got the e-mail because you will not get revenue from the US. If you don't have it notify google.Well, I don't mind ads, so no, I won't use it.
a batch of emails has been sent out to channel owners (YouTube Partner Program members) asking them to agree to the new terms by October 22nd or their monetized videos will be switched to private until the new agreement is accepted. This doesn't necessarily mean the new subscription option will launch on that day (or possibly the next), but it certainly seems likely.
I haven't received the e-mail either.I received the email in April informing me about the change to their TOS (effective from June) in preparation for this, but I haven't yet received an email asking me to accept the new TOS.
According to the article linked below, YT has recently started this process:

One of the solutions to stop people that use adblocker is long non-skippable ads. Which I find funny. When they announced this back in April, I sort of wondered if Google had found a way to stop adblocking software from working on YouTube (otherwise, nobody would be ever be interested in paying for this service) - As a YouTube creator, I sincerely hope that is the case.
is this only launching in america? im still waiting on fan funding coming to the UK -_-No I am talking about a new subscription service where the viewer can pays $8-$10 a month and not see a single ad while watching a video. Part of the money will go to Youtubers, deping on if he follows you and the amount of time that person watches your videos.
Google sent or will send an e-mail to Youtubers to join the new service because if you don't join you will loose ad revenue form the United States. No date has been received, but everyone thinks it lunches October 22. I think Google will a release the date on September 29th.
I thought everyone knew about this, its a very important update.
