YouTube Subscriber count has doubled in a week. Please read? Help needed!

I run a legitimate gaming channel. There are no viral music videos on there or nothing, all content is created by myself. Lately I have been playing and uploading brand new releases and in turn my subscriber count has gone from 200 to 400 rather quickly.

This is great but im not getting no more comments or likes than usual? Surely gaining an extra 200 subscribers, Id be getting more comments, likes etc...

Im confused, im happy that my channel is growing, but if the subscribers arent legitimate, ill be gutted.

set your account to email you when you get a sub, so you can go check out the subber and see if they look/sound real

I'm sure you'll find out when you post your next video if there's a bigger increase in numbers

I have the same problem, 1647 subscribers but not much interaction with them

Same problem here. I have 2014 subscribers and only a small handful comment and like etc. I think it's up to us to create a better environment for our subscribers to interact more. ;-)

It's just life. You will get people who subscribe but wont come back. If you look at big gamers like Syndicate. He has loads of subs but his videos wont get that same number of views any time soon. Just something you have to put up with an keep growing.
