Hi ! (First of all, sorry for my English)

I've made a banner for my Youtube channel, but the quality seem really worse than the original one

Here is the "normal" one :

2560 x 1439, PNG, 811 Ko.

Now, here is the result when i set the picture as my youtube banner :

A bit uglier, isn't ?
I tried to do File > Save for web > PNG-24, no changes.
I tried in PNG and JPEG, no changes.
To be accurate, the quality is good when i set the banner, but the quality drop when i refresh the page for the first time.

Any help ? Thanks !

To be honest I don't see why you're concerned, the quality drop is barely noticeable and it honestly looks smoother than the original where you can make out each pixel

Well, for example, look :

Bad Quality :

Good Quality :

Bad Quality :

Good Quality :

I mean, we can clearly see the difference, it's like going from 720P to 144P..
Or maybe it's just me, i don't know..

Wait, i have to correct this because i can't edit :
I fixed the link, not the problem
I see the quality drop, but I can't figure out why. I've seen other people talking about this but I save my images normally on photoshop and never encounter this problem, honestly don't know what to say

i still think your banner looks good i can't really see it but good job on making one that good =)

The quality drop IMO is more than barely noticeable, it also happened to me with several banners (don't know the reason)

Don't worry about it. The quality drop only happens sometimes when you have a bad internet connection. In general, the quality hasn't dropped.
