Youtube Counts Self Views?

Same with Likes/Dislikes. We can rate our own videos, 1 rate per video.

When I upload I tend to have a view count of 5 or so before the video is even made public. Those first 5 or so views are all me - checking to ensure the upload was OK, then adding and checking annotations etc.
I dont notice the view count go down at all. In fact I upload a video as private, do my extra bits and the view count hits 5 or so, then sometimes its a few weeks until I make the video public - the view count created by me doesn't drop at all.

no they definitely do. I often watch mine unlisted 4 or 5 times before I make them public, to either annotate or decide if I'm truly ok with that one little section the editing was off in etc. Every time the view gets counted.
