This I agree with, probably should clarify in the first post. Because if I have issues with software, I come here first as the site isn't as dead as support forums. Much easier. But general Youtube questions are rather annoying.

Oh I know it happens. It just seems like in the past week or so, the "New Threads" have just been completely and utterly flooded with 'em.

No, not at all, actually! Your question was a valid one! And that's not a Googleable answer! (I happen to know because I work pretty closely with our ad sales department at Mashable).

Actually, I did my best to wait until none of those threads were in the "Latest", so people wouldn't fear it was an attack on them.

I have to agree, the same questions get asked over and over again, and as a mod it can get tiresome. I wish they used the search feature or at least Google like you said.
